WENDY HAMMOND PHOTOGRAPHY

Wendy was after a modern, minimal and eye-catching look for her new photography business. she was keen for a subtle yet bold approach and a brand that complemented her beautiful photography. The inspiration for the logo came from the shape made when framing a photograph with your hands and fingers. in the research stage of the project a similar angular shape was also found in urban photography and the shapes that some buildings make up. A similar shape was formed for Wendy’s logo which spells out her initials in an abstract manner.

Wendy uses black and white in a lot of her photography however we felt we could apply small amounts of colour yet retain a minimal feel.

The logo lends itself to a variety of motion approaches which are intended to be used subtly on Wendy’s website and social posts, such as when a photo loads onto a page or a payment is being processed.
